Poole Town Rowing Regatta

30 June 2018

Poole Town Rowing Regatta

Organiser: Poole Amateur Rowing Club

Venue: Hamworthy Park  |  10:30 – 18:00

Rowing is one of the fastest growing sports in the country due to widely recognised fitness and health benefits and also recent successes at World Championships and Olympic events. Founded in 1873, Poole Amateur Rowing Club is the oldest sporting club in Poole. The club is run entirely by its members on a voluntary basis.

Poole Amateur Rowing Club will be hosting its 7th Rowing Regatta in Hamworthy Park – a rowing event raced over an 1800m course starting at the Western end of the Park with up to 8 lanes, turning around the Buoys off Poole Yacht Club and racing back to the start.

With over 300 invitation-only participants, this is a great sporting event to observe in the lovely surroundings of Hamworthy Park.
